رصدت صور الأقمار الاصطناعية حجم الدمار، الذي خلفه زلزال تركيا القوي، مما أدى إلى خسائر بشرية ومادية هائلة.

ونشرت شركة "ماكسار" الأمريكية، للتصوير بالأقمار الاصطناعية، على حسابها الرسمي في "تويتر"، صورًا تكشف آثار الدمار الواسع، في إحدى المدن التركية.

والتقطت "ماكسار" صورًا لإحدى مناطق مدينة "إصلاحي"، الأولى في 4 فبراير قبل الزلزال، والثانية يوم 7 فبراير بعد الزلزال.

وقبل الكارثة، كانت المنطقة عبارة عن حي سكني واسع محاط بمناطق خضراء، قبل أنّ يدمر الزلزال القوي مساحات شاسعة ويسقط مجموعة بنايات.

وتقول فرق الإغاثة: "إنّ عددًا كبيرًا من الأشخاص ما يزال محاصرًا تحت الأنقاض، فيما تستمر جهود الإنقاذ".

وفي أحدث حصيلة لزلزال تركيا، ذكر الرئيس رجب طيب أردوغان، أنّ عدد القتلى الزلزال ارتفع إلى 8574 قتيلاً، ونحو 50 ألف مصاب.
